Wonder Dolomitic Lime 3 kg is a soil amendment designed to raise the pH of acidic soils and prevent calcium deficiency, promoting optimal growing conditions for plants. It contains 160 g/kg of calcium and 120 g/kg of magnesium, both essential nutrients for plant health. The product has an acid neutralizing capacity (KKE/CCE) of 88%, making it effective in correcting soil acidity. The recommended application rate is 200–250 g per square meter, and it should be evenly sprinkled on the soil surface and then worked in. For lawns, the lime will leach into the soil with irrigation or rain, and it’s advisable to treat established lawns every four years. It’s important to determine the soil’s pH before application, as the ideal pH for most plants ranges between 5.5 and 6.5. The product should be stored under a roof, kept out of reach of children and pets, and not applied directly to leaves and roots. Water thoroughly after each application and do not exceed the recommended rate. This lime is particularly beneficial for improving nutrient uptake in plants by reducing soil acidity.
