Talisma EC is a professional-grade insecticide designed to protect stored grains and seeds—such as maize and wheat—from a broad spectrum of pests. It is widely used in agricultural storage facilities and grain silos. Active Ingredients Cypermethrin: 80 g/Piperonyl butoxide (PBO): 228 g/These components work synergistically to provide rapid contact and ingestion toxicity against various insect pests.Target Pests Talisma EC effectively controls: Grain weevils (e.g., maize and granary weevils)Lesser and larger grain borers Saw-toothed grain beetles Confused flour beetles Angoumois grain moths Tropical warehouse moths German cockroaches It is suitable for use in both stored grain and empty storage facilities. Application Guidelines For Stored Grain Dosage: 20 mL per tonne of grain Dilution: 2 L of Talisma EC in 48 L of waterApplication: Spray onto grain via low-pressure nozzles over conveyor belts, ideally where grain enters storage, to ensure even coverage.Protection Duration: Up to 12 months For Storage Facilities Dosage: 60 mL per 100 m² for porous surfaces; 30 mL per 100 m² for smooth surfaces Dilution: 0.6 L of Talisma EC in 50 L of water Application: Apply as a medium to coarse spray on walls, floors, ceilings, and doors using a knapsack sprayer. Timing: Treat 3–4 weeks before grain storage. Safety & Handling Hazards: Harmful if swallowed (H302); may cause allergic skin reactions (H317); very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects (H410). Precautions: Wear protective gloves and eye protection. Avoid release into the environment. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product.
