Efekto Kamikaze is a ready-to-use granular bait specifically formulated to control harvester termites in gardens and lawns. It contains the active ingredient Carbaryl (Carbamate) at a concentration of 16.0 g/kg, which effectively targets and eliminates termite infestations. Each gram of bait covers approximately 1 m², making it suitable for both small and large areas. The bait can be applied manually or with a fertilizer spreader for efficient distribution over larger spaces. For optimal results, it is recommended to scatter the bait during the termites’ active foraging period, typically from May to August, between 11:00 AM and sundown. One application is usually sufficient, but if termite activity persists after one month, a repeat application may be necessary. Safety precautions include withdrawing livestock from treated areas during and for three days after application, as the product is toxic to fish and poultry. Users should avoid contamination of water sources and wear protective gear during application. Efekto Kamikaze is classified under Reg. No. L4216, Act No. 36 of 1947, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Proper storage in a cool place away from food and feed is essential, and the product should be kept out of reach of children and uninformed persons.
