Efekto Biokill Equine & Stable Spray RTU 5 L is a ready-to-use insecticidal emulsion designed to control biting midges, house flies, stable flies, and ticks in equine environments. It contains 2.5 g/l of permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that disrupts the nervous system of cold-blooded insects, leading to paralysis and death. This non-flammable, odourless, and non-staining formulation offers long-lasting protection and is 100% biodegradable. For application in stables, horse boxes, bedding, and feed store walls, spray at a rate of 20–25 ml per square meter every ten days or as needed. When applying directly to horses, use a spray bottle or sponge to cover the entire body, avoiding the eyes, ears, genitals, and anus, and apply twice daily using 25 to 75 ml per horse per application, depending on its size. Precautions include avoiding excessive inhalation or skin contact, keeping the product away from food, feed, and water sources, and preventing contamination of aquatic environments, as it is toxic to fish and bees. The product should be stored out of reach of children and animals, and application equipment should be cleaned after use.
